The Brewery

We are cuckoo brewers, using others brewery equipment to make Chesters Beer. We also have a small brewing facility for test batches in Handbridge, Chester. Handbridge is where all our dreams started. And where brewing our local beers for Chester started.

I still dream. I dream about building something great. Something like Chester had in its world famous city centre until 1971 when, sadly, the Chester Northgate Brewery (pictured) made way for the dull-as-ditchwater Centurion House.

As we come out of lockdown measures I think we must be patient. Patient to see whether restrictions with the potential to ruin nights out remain, or whether we really are beating this, and that we can get back on the town. Its our town, and whatever happens we will be there with you to make the most of it 

We are brewing our beers at other brewers facilities now. This gives us access to the best brewing equipment that we can afford. And let's us make the fabulous beers that we do on a consistent basis. We work only with independent craft brewers and we keep our finished beers cool to make sure they reach you in consistently great condition.

We've been brewing and drinking test batches throughout lockdown to make sure that we can serve you our great beer exactly as you will come to expect it.
